An acrylic painting/illustration Gallery framed.
A New York Minute.
I started with the term “A new york minute”.
Based off of that I though about how NYC moves fast! It seems like everyone is in a rush. I find myself walking rapidly often, even if it’s just to go to the local grocery store (Bodega).
I’ve heard native New Yorkers on many occasion express disdain, for “Effing Tourists!!!”, That they should “Stop standing in the middle of the sidewalk, and get the Eff out the way”.
(kids cover your ears.)
So that what sparked the image of New Yorkers on the move in the city. Moving fast to the point of leaving visible trails.
They are not blurry actually, I just couldn’t paint fast enough.
(Reference photos for the painting was taken in SoHo, NYC.)
Size to edge of frame:
15 1/4 in. x 20 1/4 in.

The Tree of Many Things.
This artwork is freshly posted to the art gallery and shop on Society6.
This was based on talks with a friend of mine.
It originated with the Ceiba Tree, and extended from there based on all the folklore surrounding it.
